Helping out around St. Luke's

Got Breakfast? Please join the St. Luke's breakfast team. We are a group of parishioners who cook fellowship breakfast during the school year. Breakfast is served between the 8 and 10:30 am services. We have a few openings for volunteers for the 2011-2012 year (Sept. through May). With enough volunteers, you should only have to cook once every 5-6 weeks. And you pick the times. If you want to help out, contact Ken Parker via email or at 225-9926 on the phone.

Story Time

Following their normal Sunday School, children up to age 8 can expand their Christian Formation experience by participating in Story Time. Story Time is the opportunity for these children to hear and respond to the Gospel each Sunday at a level they can understand. This year, the curriculum is "Weaving God's Promises". Sunday readings come alive for children while their parents participate in the Liturgy of the Word in the 10:30 am worship. Story Time children are brought into worship during the passing of the peace so that they can be with their families during Communion.
